Mathison Retirement Community, Inc.

In 2000, the Mathison Retirement Community, an assisted living home, named in honor of Dr. Si Mathison and his family, was opened in Panama City, Florida. The Mathison Retirement Community offers amenities such as a jacuzzi, tennis courts, swimming pool, and spacious, attractive living rooms and dining area. Residents of Panama City enjoy visiting to take advantage of the restaurant- like dining room and food service. Methodist Homes believes that there is not a comparable home anywhere in northwest Florida. In 2011, a portion of the building was converted into a memory care unit to care for persons with mild to moderate dementia.
